I had booked Easy Cabs on Sunday for a Monday 04:30 am trip to th new airport at hyderabad. From 03:30 am till 05:00 am, I was calling them to no avail. I had to send my family to the airport to catch the flight on hastily arranged transport. I finally got through to Easy Cabs at 09:30 am and got a 'Sorry' as the solution. And there was no responsible person to talk to.
My view: Do not trust Easy Cabs - Bad and Unreliable.

That is the first time i am travelling to Hyderabad. I came out of New Airport looking for CAB / Radio Taxi. One of the Executive / Airport Operations guy and wished me in a pleasent manner. I asked him for my drop from Airport. I am so happy seeing that car. Olive Green Colour, which is next to the exit door. Executive ushered me towards the car. The driver wished me opened the door and invited me to sit. I asked the fare, he explained clearly first 2 Km's 30 and net Km 15 Rs. He explained that the system they have. GPS/ GPRS Enanbled and Fully Air Conditioned. He droped me at Yousufguda. 750 i paid for that. He given me a proper bill.
In the return i called for 442224422 for airport drop. I asked for evening 4o clock. They send me the cab details and driver num ber. he came to my hotel at 3..45 and he droped me at 4.45.

Thanks a lot to the management of Meru and GMR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

I too used EasyCabs and how I wish I had read toms comments about easycabd before. For me the cab arrived 40 mins late, that gave me lot of tension and anxiety. Luckily theres not much traffic as today being a government public holiday. Else I would have missed the flight.

I landed from Delhi at New Shamshabad Air Port on 4th June 2008 by Jetlite flight No s2-243 at 20.30 hrs. One of the Taxi Cab person informed me that Fare is Rs 15/- per KM., I immediaely borded the cab and dropped me at Gachibowli Telecomnagar and gave me bill showing Rs.675/- The time and date shown in the bill is 5th june 2008 and time printed on the bill 03.28.11 hrs and end time 04.12.14 hrs. When asked about wrong time and excess fare the driver told machine not working and charged Rs. 675/- for Kms. I have proof of bill and what time I landed at air port which shows my journey. /-The taxi fellow demanded Rs 675/- plus Rs. 5/- tip as against actual fare of Rs.540/- @ Rs.15/- KM for 36 kms. This clearly shows Easy cabs are cheating public I feel very sorry and not to use easy in my life and advise my friends the same

Thank you Pavan for taking time out to post your experiences.

It will be useful for the other readers.

From the comments on the post so far, it looks like a mixed bag. Some cab operators look like they are out there to fleece the public.
