Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) provides comprehensive emergency management services in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat using a single, toll-free number (108). The number 108 is used as the centralized helpline for Medical, Police and Fire emergencies. In less than a year's time the Government recognized EMRI as a nodal agency for Emergency Management. EMRI has deployed 502 state of the art ambulances across Andhra Pradesh covering 8.0 Crore population, establishing partnerships and saved more than 25,000 lives.

good job.95% funding from govt of AP. 5% by emri.They increased ambulane strenght in middle of 2008 with government support.we could find a vehicle for transport in times of emergency. good job.
